Meet Dr. Mendoza

It’s exciting for me to work in the Washington, DC, area, treating such a diverse group of patients, and seeing how so many different cultures seem to have one thing in common – the desire to have a beautiful smile!

I truly love what I do as an orthodontist, and I feel honored whenever a new patient chooses to receive treatment from this practice. I am also extremely grateful for my staff, many of whom I have worked with for over ten years. It is deeply fulfilling and humbling that so many people have confidence in the care they receive here, and are willing to share their life-changing experiences with us. Many of my patients have even kept in touch with our practice long after they’ve completed treatment, and have referred friends and family members, which I consider the greatest gift of all.

Education/Experience

I began my orthodontic career by attending college and receiving an exceptional education. I graduated from Howard University’s Orthodontics Department, and shortly after received my certificate in orthodontics. I began practicing in Washington, DC,, and have been serving this wonderful community ever since. I work with patients of all ages, and am fluent in English and Spanish.

Continuing Education

Having spent many hours in additional training and conferences, I can say with some authority that Invisalign is the greatest advance in treatment I have seen in 20 years of practice. My staff and I are very excited about introducing our patients to this proven and exciting way to straighten teeth. As a father, I know how important it is to make sure your children are self-confident and a beautiful smile really helps! Even my adult patients have found their confidence soar after treatment.

Outside the Office

My wife and I enjoy traveling to different countries and exploring new areas around the globe. My passion for travel comes from my involvement with various Catholic charities as well as being a part of the diverse Washington, DC, area, and hearing about all the wonderful places my patients have lived and visited over the years.
